Silent Disco Dance Journey

I look forward to welcoming you into the space tonight, and I just wanted to pass along a few details to help you have the best experience:

It is recommended to wear clothing layers that you can remove for comfort!

We operate in the same space as Instrumental Yoga, and the studio is kept warm. While we won't be running the heat during the dancing portion of the event, the room will be at minimum 75 degrees (otherwise we lose the heat entirely in the space because of the winter weather, and it's very difficult to bring the room back up).

The carpeted floor area is the "Shoes Off" area where you can dance, sit, lie down, and get cozy.

The concrete floor area is the "Shoes On" sections if you prefer to keep your shoes on.

We have a water filter and plastic cups if you need some hydration during the event.

ENTRANCE LOCATION:

Look for the Instrumental Yoga A-FRAME sign on the sidewalk and enter through the right set of doors. We face directly towards Washington St. There is an ORANGE YOGA MAT hanging in the front glass door. If you are not standing next to the sidewalk sign, you haven't arrived, and are likely on the other end of the apartment building!

Ecstatic Dance Massachusetts and AvenueJP come together to bring you an energizing experience this month! The journey will consist of a quick warmup, guided meditative breathing exercise, and an ice breaker, followed by a live hour-long DJ set on our own silent disco personal headphones system, and conclude with a relaxing guided meditation and sound healing. All are welcomed but space is limited!
