Service Description

An integral part in my own musical journey was learning songs I liked while sitting at the piano. I found the chords online and sang my way through until I learned the song. It’s in this spirit of play and experimentation that I find the most rewarding musical work. I aim to get students singing the music they love, whatever genre or style that may be. A lesson starts with some vocalizing. Usually simple scales, up and down. We’ll talk about your vocal goals, singers you admire, what you’ve been listening to lately. Although a piano is useful to have, we don’t need one to make music. I am based in the Boston area, and teach out of a local practice space, in your home, or online. I’m looking forward to making music with you!
